Do rooms on the top floor of a building lose heat/air conditioning the fastest?

   Heat rises, so you will be several degrees warmer than those who are downstairs from you, making it more difficult (and costlier) to cool in summer. However, you will be warmer in winter than those on the floors beneath you, and you will benefit from their heating their apartments.
