Heating and Air Conditioning

My central heating and air has stopped working. What could be my problem ?

My Central heating and air conditioning is not working properly. The air conditioning part will not function at all. The heating continues to work great, but I have a problem with that. I can’t get the thermostat to turn the heater off and on. So I have to flip the breaker switch off in order to turn off the heater. There is nothing wrong with my thermostat,because it is brand new. What could be my problem?

   If the system stopped working when the new thermostat was installed, I would suspect the thermostat is installed incorrectly. It is also possible to get a bad thermostat out of the box. Call the company hat installed the thermostat and have them come back and do the job correctly.
