if your looking to up grade the system 3500-6000 since the duct work is there more if you go with a higher seer on the air and if you go with a 90 plus but that should be a good ball park call around and get different quotes make sure you compair a apple to apple unit ,size,make,seer,btu out put

EACH COMPANY PRICING 2 AT LEAST 2 DIFFERENT SEERS SO YOU WILL SEE YOUR OPTIONS AND IT SHOULD GIVE YOU AN EYE OPENER. BE SURE YOU FIGURE IN THE FED AND LOCAL COSTS AND CREDITS INVOLVED. DON’T SIGN UP TOO QUICK, TAKE AN EXTRA DAY OR TWO. DON’T FALL FOR THE “SIGN NOW” DISCOUNTS. DEAL WITH A COMPANY WHO HAS BEEN AROUND FOR AWHILE. when you check prices compare seer ratings and warranties…a 13 SEER trane is cheaper than a 15 SEER rheem but it doesnt have near the warranty and will cost more to operate
If your not replacing any ductwork, you can figure tonage or a good estimate would be 600sq ft per 1 ton of cooling. From there it should be easy to price units.
