Zman asked: My church has air conditioning and heating and the church gets really cold in the Summer with it on, but after mass if you go in it gets really hot and they only use it whenever theres a mass, I mean instead of wasting air for only 1 hour, why not just open a window? My Church always shuts it off after mass, but then it gets extremly hot. Is there any explanation for church Air Conditioning?

Thanx People, Our church is in use 7 days a week also with Daily Mass and Groups and stuff - and It makes sense cause people will also complain! And you dont wanna be in a hot church. And the cold is more dangerous/same as heat cause people can faint quicker. So I think air conditioning is a good thing. And Our church has a Saturday Evening Mass, and a 2 Sunday Masses so it makes sense. THANKS!!
mygourgougirls- Same with our church its set mainly on a times and I think the Sacristains (where the ac switches are at) turn the two switches on, so its like on the whole time. I dont think it shuts off.
…until they turn the switches off.
