ty93 asked: i have a vent right where i want to put my bed and was wondering if there is any atatcthment to put on it with a tube or something so the air comes out somewhere else in the room not right onto my bed
I do not want to simply direct it from the vnt with a cover or diverter……I want it to go about 5 feet away and let the air out there. I want something that will take the air from my vent and let it out somewhere else……..like a tunnel

reillye asked: I **** having drafts from my ac registers (in the ceiling) when I’m heating my house. Does anyone know of a way to stop it? There is no way to close the register, and they are plastic, so the magnet type closure that a friend mentioned to me once will not work.
Thanks.

Frannie asked: I’m thinking of living in one, but I need to make it weather proof.
I’m more concerned with air-conditioning than heating.
But I’m not sure how to do that or what it would cost.
What about electricity? anyone know?
(if you’re going to insult me living in a shed and not answer the questions, then please don’t waste your time).
it’s a pre-built wood shed from home depot, vinyl sides. it has a window upstairs and two downstairs in addition to the doors.

Jennifer K asked: We’re having some problems cooling our house. My husband says it’s because we need a new heater unit (forced air oil heater) and it’s not blowing the air. I say it’s becuase we need to reposition ducts that were covered or disconnected when we redid the kitchen and the house is so hot because the sun beats in the sliding glass doors all afternoon and the only working vent comes out behind the stove and then the hot air goes all through the house and the remaining working vents (3) can’t keep the house cool (it’s a small house, but there should be 6-10 working vents). He says air should be blowing quite rapidly out the vents. I’ve never experienced a central air system where air came flying out the vents, it usually slowly flows out. I know we need to replace our heater by winter, but I think a set of blinds for the window and fixing the ducts and vents is the answer for now (and cheaper, too!). Can anyone give me an opinion from a heating/air conditioning professional standpoint?
